A third-country national holding a permit to wait for work has the right to the Universal Single Allowance ex legislative decree 230/21, both in accordance with Directive 2011/98/EU, which guarantees equal treatment in family benefits to holders of a permit to work, and in accordance with the same legislative decree 230/21, which recognises the aforementioned right to all holders of a ‘single work permit’, given that the permit to wait for work falls within this category.
